If you want to publish it on the internet,
1. You need to install the Spiceworks on the server itself. It doesnt have to be a dedicated server, but you do need hosters help to install it. On it as it uses exe's.
Although the software is form of Java/Apache based, it works on Windows servers only for now. (Correct me if I'm wrong.).
Also one other point is Spiceworks does not use the default port80. This will cause some problem on the net (check with ISP if their gateway supports the required port).
